Trampoline Hall Lecture Series, Toronto, December 2019

In this well-known local lecture series, I share my story about how I developed an interest in the Degrassi series as a young child, primarily through a curiosity about a background character named Jyoti. This soon culminated into an academic interest in Canadian media representations of race, ethnicity, and place.
